Our aim at St Michael’s is to provide a happy, safe and caring environment in which all members of the community are valued as individuals.
We believe that Personal, Social, Health and Emotional Education is of great importance to our children’s everyday life education. Although PSHE is not part of the new National Curriculum, it underpins all that we do. We encourage children to develop high self esteem and good interpersonal skills through circle time and discrete PSHE lessons based around a specific topic or theme. We believe that the teaching of PSHE, however discrete, is a fundamental way to build relationships and boost confidence in every child.
