Our Harvest Festival celebration will take place on Friday 19 October. This is a traditional festival often celebrated in churches and schools across the country at this time of year. It is a time for us to help children reflect on our good fortune that we live in a place and time when we have sufficient food, as well as an opportunity to think of those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
Children bring in tins and packets of food which we give to Bournemouth Food Bank who ensure that the food reaches families in need in our local area. We would be very grateful if you could provide your child with some tins or packets of food (no fresh foods) on Friday 19 October to contribute to the offering at our Harvest Festival.
