This page has been introduced for YOU, the fabulous children (and parents/carers) of St Michael’s School.
We are going through a very strange time at the moment and it feels very weird for all of us. There are lots of things that you can’t do but there are also lots of things you can do: – FaceTime your friends; try your hand at baking; play in your garden (if you have one), read; take up a new hobby; or just enjoy being with your family. However, we know that some of you may be struggling with being at home and are unsure of what will happen or when things will get back to normal. On this page you will find some resources and activities that will help you with mindfulness, growth mindset and calming activities to help you when those angry moments might start to appear.
Lastly we want you to know that every morning when you awake, we are one day closer to things going back to normal. I know that each and every member of staff would ask me to send on their best wishes, we miss you all and are really looking forward to having you back at school, for you the children are the magic that makes St Michael’s so amazing!
Take care and STAY SAFE

Please make sure you know what your child is seeing online.
We advise that parents take this opportunity to talk with their children about staying safe on the Internet and to monitor what they are doing online.

In response to school closures, HeartSmart (the PSHE programme we follow weekly) have launched a free family resource kit that children can access at home and online. There are lots of activities, a daily Boris film and even a short quiz!
