Samy has a mature nature and natural kindness, which shines through in all that he does. He is honest and hardworking and is always available to give anyone a helping hand. He reassures children who are upset and sensitively makes sure that an adult is aware of the situation. He is particularly kind to younger members of the school community.
Many staff members have commented on the affable nature of Samy. When his name was mentioned as a nominee for the Good Egg award, there was a unanimous nodding of heads in agreement.
Samy has the courage to speak up when he knows that others are doing wrong and will confidently share why he feels something is unfair or unjust. He is always respectful in these encounters and is willing to walk away rather than be ‘right’.
Staff have nothing but admiration for his calm approach to school life. Samy is in every sense ‘a good egg’ and is a true ambassador for St Michael’s, showing through his everyday interactions, courage, peace and respect.
Well done Samy!
